High comorbidity levels were reported by the cohort (psychosocial problems, 61.1%; depression, 54.1%; substance misuse, 40.7%). UHR clients experienced similar psychosis transition rates to the reference group (17.3% vs. 14.6%; 8.9% vs. 9.1% within 2-years) and comparable rates of subsequent non-psychosis outcomes. A 25.9% conversion rate from early psychosis to schizophrenia was detected. However, among transitioning individuals, UHR clients faired relatively better, particularly with respect to changes in comorbidity and mental health contacts. Interventions tailored to current problems, recovery and psychological strengthening may be more appropriate than those based on estimated psychosis risk, which currently lacks clinical utility.]]> Wed 04 Sep 2019 10:05:29 AEST ]]> Quantitative EEG analysis of the maturational changes associated with childhood absence epilepsy https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:537 Thu 25 Jul 2013 09:10:32 AEST ]]> Aggression and trauma experiences among carer-relatives of people with psychosis https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:7405 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:42:43 AEDT ]]> 'Traumatisers or traumatised': trauma experiences and personality characteristics of Australian prisoners https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:7634 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:36:02 AEDT ]]> Neonatal lipopolysaccharide and adult stress exposure predisposes rats to anxiety-like behaviour and blunted corticosterone responses: implications for the double-hit hypothesis https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:7899 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:35:11 AEDT ]]> Distinguishing childhood absence epilepsy patients from controls by the analysis of their background brain electrical activity (II): a combinatorial optimization approach for electrode selection https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:7694 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:33:34 AEDT ]]> Visual signal detection measured by event-related potentials https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:1340 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:32:37 AEDT ]]> Cue gradient and cue density interact in the detection and recognition of objects defined by motion, contrast, or texture https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:1593 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:30:32 AEDT ]]> Discriminative taste aversion learning: a learning task for older chickens https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:1722 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:27:27 AEDT ]]> Changes in mid-to-late latency auditory evoked responses in the chicken during neural maturation https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:10941 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:10:40 AEDT ]]> Use of the domestic chicken to investigate mechanisms of brain maturation https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:11017 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:07:10 AEDT ]]> Brief neuropsychological profiles in psychosis: a pilot study using the Audio Recorded Cognitive Screen (ARCS) https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:10315 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:07:00 AEDT ]]> When I look into my baby's eyes...Infant emotion recognition by mothers with borderline personality disorder https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:18309 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:04:40 AEDT ]]> The role of resilience in adjustment and coping with chronic pain https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:18876 Sat 24 Mar 2018 08:03:10 AEDT ]]> Thalamic Stroke: precursors and outcomes for ten patients https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:20912 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:57:52 AEDT ]]> Molecular changes in the intermediate medial mesopallium after a one trial avoidance learning in immature and mature chickens https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:5158 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:49:41 AEDT ]]> Biochemical, behavioural and electrophysiological investigations of brain maturation in chickens https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:4741 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:21:10 AEDT ]]> Improving antenatal risk assessment in women exposed to high risks https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:22782 Sat 24 Mar 2018 07:12:16 AEDT ]]> EEG as a measure of developmental changes in the chicken brain https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:2833 Mon 01 Apr 2019 14:03:20 AEDT ]]> Effect of core temperature and embolic load during cardiac surgery on motion perception https://ogma.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:24438 Fri 03 Dec 2021 10:35:17 AEDT ]]>
